What is going on with our world recently? I mean seriously. Could it get any more worse than this? Just because of one silly issue uncivilized civilians try to detonate every church in Malaysia? This is so wrong & fucked up.
It seems to pit CHRISTIANS & MUSLIMS against each other.
And now i find myself in an awkward place.
I do not want that way.
Do you know how hard it has been every time I meet my Muslim friends and we try so hard to avoid this stupidity when we meet up.
I SHIT YOU NOT!
I can't tell for certain if they are affected by it, though it is safer to assume that they are to a certain degree.
Eventually, both sides will claim they are in the right with no compromise in sight. With this impasse, we have to agree to disagree. However, I do feel that we, as ONE MALAYSIANS, should step into each other's shoes for a change to fathom why we feel the way we do. If we cannot come to our consensus just yet, LET US AT LEAST COME TO AN UNDERSTANDING. Logistic & Idealistic but no harm done if we try right?
I am not saying my Muslim friends will cut me off if the court rules in favour of the Herald come the appeal, NOR i will alienate my Muslim friends if the decision swings the other way.
I SHALL NOT.
But do bear in mind, it could create an uneasiness among the two communities, where insecurities and conspiracy theories might fester. If that is the case and I may get chastised for this, I don't want to be right.
Just be matured & be civilized when come to handle any sensitive issues.
p/s: Malaysians, let our One Voice be heard.
UNITED WE STAND NOT DIVIDED WE FALL.
